what are avatars?

Avatars are the pictures that show up beside your posts or in your profile.

If you want to have a different picture on your profile.  Go to google and type in "avatars" or "animated avatars"   go to any site you find... If you like something, right click on it and save image location.
Then go to your profile and paste that location in the correct picture section.
