For the purpose of facing the correct direction I will use the following "code": when you start the form A is in front of you, B is to your left, C is to your right, and D is behind you. Any combination of these letters will be a diagonal movement. (ex. AB is to the forward diagonal left.) AB A AC B x C BD D CD "x" is the starting position. You will always be facing A to start Start in the "hands to heaven" ready position. (hands form a triangle {thumbs to thumbs, index finger to index finger}ahead and above you) 1. "breaking" the hands, bring them sideways out in a circular motion while simultaniously raising left foot 6 inches off the ground. Continue motion of hands so that the right fist is covered by the left palm at navel level. Feet come together into a closed stance.(The exact same position as a "b" ready stance) Do this with a slow tension 2. Stepping towards A into a left front stance execute a reverse upset punch with the right fist. With tension 3. Shift towards A into a right front stance. Execute a reverse upset punch with the left fist. With tension 4. Double stepping towards AC but still facing towards A execute a hooking block with the right hand. 5. Shifting back into a right L-stance towards D but still facing towards A execute a double knifehand downwards block (Low sudo marki) 6. Double stepping towards AB but still facing towards A execute a hooking block with the left hand. 7. Shifting back into a left L-stance towards D but still facing towards A execute a double knifehand downwards block (Low sudo marki) 8. Shifting forward into a right rear foot (cat stance) execute a sudo marki. 9. Shifting forward into a left rear foot (cat stance) execute a sudo marki. 10. Take a short step towards A and then turn 180° clockwise towards D assuming a left front stance. Execute a double pressing block. (right hand down, left hand up) 11. Shift towards D into a right front stance. Execute a double pressing block. (left hand down, right hand up) 12. While facing D, step your left foot up to your right into a closed stance. Simultaniously raise your arms straight up and make an outward downward circular motion. Finish with right knifehand edge inside the left open palm. 13. While maintaining body posture towards D execute a low (knee level) side kick to C with the left leg. 14. Maintaining balance, rapidly execute a mid section kick towards C (also with the left leg). 15. Drop the kicking foot towards C into a right L-stance. Execute an inward knifehand strike with the right hand. At the same time draw the left fist to the right shoulder, palm inward. 16. Slide the left foot to the right assuming a closed stance. Execute a downward vertical strike with the left fist.. 17. While maintaining body posture towards D execute a low (knee level) side kick to B with the right leg. 18. Maintaining balance, rapidly execute a mid section kick towards B (also with the right leg). 19. Drop the kicking foot towards B into a left L-stance. Execute an inward knifehand strike with the left hand. At the same time draw the right fist to the left shoulder, palm inward. 20. Slide the right foot to the left assuming a closed stance. Execute a downward vertical strike with the right fist.. 21. Stepping towards D into an extended left front stance execute a double pressing block (right hand low, left hand high) With tension 22. Shifting towards D into an extended right front stance, execute a double pressing block (left hand low, right hand high) With tension. 23. Turning clockwise towards A land in a riding stance towards B while executing a backfist sidestrike towards A 24. Pivoting on the left (back) foot land in a right front stance towards A. Execute a double forearm guarding block. 25.Slip the rear foot back 6 inches and follow quickly with the forward foot (this is called a dodging step)maintain right hand position (middle guarding block), execute a reverse low block with the left arm. 26. Maintaining stance, execute a fingertip thrust with the right knifehand. With tension 27. Turning towards D counterclockwise land in a riding stance towards B while executing a backfist sidestrike towards D 28. Pivoting on the right (front) foot land in a left front stance towards D. Execute a double forearm guarding block. 29. Slip the rear foot back 6 inches and follow quickly with the foward foot maintain left hand position (middle guarding block), execute a reverse low block with the right arm. 30. Maintaining stance, execute a fingertip thrust with the left knifehand. With tension 31. Shift towards D into a right front stance while executing a high twin vertical punch. 32. Pivoting on the right leg, turn 90° counterclockwise towards C. With a stamping motion step into a left front stance, while executing a double upset punch 33. Shift forward towards C and execute a front snap kick to the mid section with your right foot. 34. Place kicking foot straight down, step out with the left foot towards C while facing B in a left L-stance. Execute a sudo marki. 35. Shift towards B into a left front stance while executing a high section punch with the left fist. 36. Shift towards B in a stamping motion into a right front stance while executing a double upset punch. 37. Shift forward towards B and execute a front snap kick to the mid section with your left foot. 38. Place kicking foot straight down, step out with the right foot towards B while facing C in a right L-stance. Execute a sudo marki. 39. Shift towards C into a right front stance while executing a high section punch with the right fist. END. step into a ready stance with hands in "heaven hand" |
